Swaffham hosted round six of the Unlimited Championship and had nine drivers in attendance. The Norfolk circuit welcomed a league debutant in the form of Dutch driver 998 Davy, who unfortunately left during heat 4. While the barriers provided some big wrecking, the slightly submerged kerbs flipped many a driver, which caused some pretty insane wrecks!
As an added bonus the Figure 8 layout was used for the last Allcomers race of the meeting.Rik made it back to back wins with another fine display of driving. The Banger World Series champion was the only driver to score points in every single race, with two heat wins and the DD as well as two Allcomers. European champion Jam was in second after a heat win and no finishes below 4th in the points races. Cap ended up third after a great final win, with Looney a single point behind following his single heat win. Michal rounded out the top 5 with two heat wins and an Allcomers.

Ten drivers attended the fifth round of the Unlimited Championship from Ringwood. A long time absentee made a return tonight as 128 Isaac, who previously raced under IMD, made his first appearance in LFS Bangers in well over FIVE YEARS!
As with the previous round, the unusual kerbs on the Hampshire track proved deadly for a number of drivers, either flipping them or getting them stuck and helping out with some mega hits too! The final Allcomers of the evening was changed to a ramp race, which was well enjoyed by all.It was a Netherlands one-two as current Banger World Series champion Rik and Miniman dominated the meeting. The Team Bandicoot pairing won nine of the meeting's 11 races and #997 did not finish below fourth in any of the point scoring events. #474 claimed three heats and the final while his compatriot claimed two heats, the second and third Allcomers (the latter being the hugely enjoyable ramp race) and the DD. The only driver to break the Dutch duopoly on the victory front was Cap, who picked up a heat and the first Allcomers race.

Eight drivers attended the fourth round of the Unlimited Championship from Taunton. We had a league debutant in Frenchman Hector, racing under 100, who has a good night in his first ever LFS Bangers meet, claiming a win along the way! The kerbs of the Somerset circuit proved deadly at times while some big hits went in. I can only apologise for what happened at the start of the meeting, but it appears Hector had a third-party program that bizarrely put him a lap up at the start and then failed to count any further laps after lap 2. A game restart solved the problem, but please make sure you have nothing else running that could interfere with LFS before the meeting begins.
Despite having to depart after the final, Looney claimed the meeting by just three points from Michal in second and a further three ahead of surprise package Brett in third. 870 claimed a heat and three seconds, including one in the final, to win, while 47 won a heat, the final and the DD (the latter in slightly comic circumstances as he rolled himself shortly after Brett had got stuck on a kerb and couldn't move). 786 picked up two heat wins as well. Cap claimed two heats and two allcomers while Hector's first LFS Bangers victory was in the final Allcomers race.

Nine drivers attended Round 3 of the Unlimited series from Birmingham Wheels. Brum's unusual banked surface proved tricky for some but a number of big hits went in, so it didn't dull the action.
Looney claimed the meeting with three consecutive heats and the DD (the latter generously gifted to him by Brett after #786's tyres burst a second after the 30 minute limit) ahead of Michal, who won three consecutive races with the last heat, final and the first allcomers. Rik finished third with two heat wins and an allcomers, with Brett also claiming an allcomers victory.

Ten* drivers attended round 2 of the Unlimited championship from Buxton. The tight circuit proved extra deadly tonight as no race got more than eight finishers and most only had 5 cross the line! We had a debutant tonight in French driver Takumi, racing under #54. Takumi had an impressive night, claiming the final and also picking up a second in the heats to finish 4th overall, which is one heck of a start to his LFS Bangers career!
It was also a welcome return for #271 Kizza, making his first appearance since last season, and he picked up an Allcomers win.Cap claimed the round by being the only driver to score in every points race, and also had a heat win to go along with it. Looney claimed a heat of his own as he ended up 4 points behind #27, Rik picked up two heat wins and the DD but not much else to end up third while Jam claimed a heat and two allcomers but also didn't have that much of an impact elsewhere as he finished joint 5th with Brett.

Eleven drivers attended the first round of the Unlimited championship tonight at the classic Autocross Skid Pad layout. It was a great night of racing and crashing action despite the lower numbers compared to last year's first round.
Rik was the winner of the round, taking the first three heats, the final and the DD to come out on top with 73 points. Cap and Jam had a heat win each, the European champion also picking up an Allcomers victory, to end up joint 2nd on 61 points. Michal claimed a heat and 2 allcomers to finish 4th on 51 points, while Pepino was the other race winner with an Allcomers win and ended up joint 5th with Jon on 41 points.
