11/11/2016: GB v Europe Head-to-Head

Postby Jon#606 » Fri 04 Nov 2016, 10:40 pm

After a successful trial last season, a head-to-head meeting has been scheduled for next Friday.

Owing to the large increase in continental drivers over the season, it was decided that it would be a battle of Europe as Great Britain is set to take on the continent.

Drivers racing for GB must race in red & white while drivers racing for Europe must race in blue & yellow.

All races will take place on the Autocross Arena Oval layout using the Unlimited class (FXO, RB4 & XRT).

Bookings will not be limited for this meeting. In the event teams are unbalanced before the meeting, drivers racing for the higher populated side will be asked to switch to the lower populated side for fairness

Bookings are MANDATORY for this meeting; you must book in and cannot just turn up on the night without having informed an admin beforehand. If you are not currently registered with the league, please do so in the following thread before booking in: http://www.lfsbangers.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=6

You can also book in via the LFS Bangers Facebook page by either commenting on the post or by posting to the page with your driver name, number and which side you're racing for. Bookings received in this way will have a (F) after the driver's name.

The single booking rule is now INACTIVE, so therefore:

YOU CAN BOOK IN AS MANY DRIVERS AS YOU WANT FOR THE MEETING, BUT KEEP IT REASONABLE.

YOU MUST BOOK IN DRIVERS OTHER THAN YOURSELF AS PROVISIONAL BOOKINGS UNTIL THE RESPECTIVE DRIVERS CONFIRM THEIR OWN ATTENDANCE.

IF YOU CANNOT BOOK IN ON THE FORUM OR VIA THE FACEBOOK PAGE, PLEASE CONTACT ME AND I WILL BOOK YOU IN.

Myself booking in for GB.

me for the brits, would of liked to of used the 2 litre class aswell as unlims could of had

2 heats 2 litres uk track
2 heats 2 litres european track

2 heats unlims uk track
2 heats european track

finals could either have 2 each for both classes or just 1 on either uk track or european track

if just 1 final in each class team who wins most heats chooses the finals track if its tied then go off best race finishing positons

2 dd's for each class same as finals team wins finals then chooses the dd tracks if its tied then go off best race finishing positons

still only having 8 heats in total using 2 different tracks and maybe 4 finals then 2 dd's if both classes are used

sounds complicated but i reckon it would work

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

if its just unlims only then use a uk track and a european track 4 heats at each 2 finals 2 dd''s
