30/12/2016: Champion of Champions

The 2016 season comes to a conclusion next Friday at Birmingham Wheels with the Champion of Champions meeting, being held for the first time since 2008. Throughout the season, drivers have had the opportunity to qualify for the meeting's main race via fifteen different methods and it is now time to see which one of them (or the Last Chance Qualifier winner) will claim a MAGENTA ROOF to wear next season across all formulas.

All races will take place on the Autocross Birmingham layout using the 2 Litres (XFG & XRG) class.

The Champion of Champions meeting also has the final Champion of Champions qualifying place. To qualify for the Champion of Champions race via this meeting: win the Champion of Champions Last Chance Qualifier.

The grid for the Champion of Champions race is below. Once a driver on the grid has booked in, their name will be written in bold type. Depending on the number of automatic qualifiers that attend, additional places will be awarded from the LCQ if required.

Bookings are MANDATORY for this meeting; you must book in and cannot just turn up on the night without having informed an admin beforehand. You can also book in via the LFS Bangers Facebook page by either commenting on the post or by posting to the page with your driver name and number. Bookings received in this way will have a (F) after the driver's name.

YOU CAN BOOK IN AS MANY DRIVERS AS YOU WANT FOR THE MEETING, BUT KEEP IT REASONABLE.

IF ONE PERSON BOOKS IN 10 OR MORE DRIVERS, YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO MAKE MULTIPLE BOOKINGS AGAIN.
