2019 British Championship Points Standings & Grid

Postby Jon#606 » Fri 25 Jan 2019, 11:54 pm

Drivers in red or drivers that are unlisted must enter the Last Chance Race that will be ran as the first race of the BC meeting in order to qualify, with the top two finishers qualifying for the British Championship. Drivers on the grid in bold are wildcard winners, drivers in italics indirectly qualified via the wildcard spots.

In the event a wildcard winner wins more than one regional championship, wildcards after the first go to the highest-placed driver who did not qualify automatically in that championship's race results. In the event that wildcard winners qualify for the British Championship via points, their spots will go to the next highest points scorer not qualified otherwise.

Updated and grid finalised after Round 4.

As the last two wildcard winners (Jam and Cole) also finished in the top 6 of the points table, which guaranteed automatic qualification, their respective wildcards were given to the two highest scorers who did not qualify automatically. These drivers were Jon and Stwarm.

Drivers in red in the points table or any driver not listed must compete in the Last Chance Race that will be held before the British Championship race.

In the event that any of the 4 wildcard qualifiers do not attend the British Championship meeting, the highest placed non-qualified driver from each wildcard final will directly replace them on the grid:

Neil (Welsh Champion) will be replaced by Spook
Pepino (Scottish Champion) will be replaced by Josh
Jam (Irish Champion) will be replaced by Mr. T-Bone
Cole (English Champion) will be replaced by Naglas
In the event that any of the wildcard reserves also do not attend, extra places will be added to the Last Chance Qualifier.
