In a slight change to the schedule, drivers were concerned that Ringwood would not be big enough for the Unlimited cars. Therefore, the big cars' races were held on Hednesford, while the 2 Litres were held on Ringwood as scheduled. The number of objects on both of the layouts may have been a reason for the large number of lag incidents during the meeting, so this may need to be looked at in future when any tracks are cerated.
There were a trio of LFS Bangers debutants tonight, with brothers 82 Ellis and 83 Jordan N. joined by 900 Joey. All drivers had a good meeting, with Joey the best performer with a seventh place in the last Unlimited heat. Let's hope they continue to compete in the league as they had a great attitude.
With the Heartbreaker being the second of 12 meetings that possess a Champion of Champions qualification place, there was another good variety of race winners with six in total. The Heartbreaker qualifier will be revealed below the results...

Champion of Champions Qualifier
As you may notice from the above results, there is a tie for the winner of the meeting.
Cap and Nova both won three races.
To determine which one of them wins the place for the Champion of Champions race at the end of the season, a tiebreaker method of "most second places" was used. However, both drivers had two second places, and so the tiebreaker moved onto "most third places".

Nova's place on the CoC grid is the OUTSIDE of the FOURTH ROW.
It's been an excellent few months for Nova, initially picking up the European Championship last December having started in the Last Chance Qualifier followed by qualification to the Champion of Champions race this forthcoming December after three heat wins. Huge misfortune for Cap, who marginally lost out on qualifying despite winning the 2 Litre final alongside a heat in both formulas.
Splat yet again dominated the DDs, although he was gifted the wins by two opponents who clearly couldn't be bothered to try and defeat him!
Jake C. also took two heats, with Kane taking the remaining heat and Nay the Unlimited final, although he could have run Nova and Cap close for CoC qualification had he managed to turn any of his four runner-up places into victories.As a side point, this meeting was the final LFS Bangers meeting ran on a server operated by Cap. In my opinion, it was a more than fitting tribute to his tenure. There was great racing action and crashing action all delivered and taken in a positive spirit and manner: just like #27 himself.
