Unlimited Icebreaker 2017 Results

A much better meeting than last week's debacle: compared to last year's meeting, numbers were down with 14 drivers over five teams. However, the fall in numbers didn't result in less action.

Blooz Boyz were the defending champions, but as all four members of the team (Jake C., Alex, Nova and Winchy) no longer race on LFS, this ensured a new winner.
This year's winners were pretty much decided by heat 4 and they just kept going...
Top 5 scored in heats and final. Allcomers were non-points. Drivers in italics finished but did not score points. 5 points went to the winning team in the DD.

As in 2015, Team Bandicoot completely destroyed the rest of the field with a scarcely believable 75 points from 155 available. The continental quartet only failed to score in a single points race but Miniman's 3 consecutive heat wins along with an allcomers combined with Rik and Pepino picking up two heats each and also picking up four second places in the heats saw the Bandicoots win with ease. For the rest, it was pretty close: West Country Warriors finished second with Splat's defeat of Jon in the DD the clincher, with Kane also picking up a heat win. Riot Squad and Team Klepdeksel finished joint third, with Cap winning an allcomers and Pennywise picking up a very good final victory for RS and TK respectively. The Predators weren't far off the rest of the field in last place, but they were more up for the crash than the points!
