With only 10 drivers in attendance and just two of those not having attended a BWS round (the aforementioned Joan and 669 Mr. Perfect Jr.) there was no Last Chance Race held as it would have been completely pointless, so these two were on the grid in race order. 2017 BANGER WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONSHIP:

After months of trying to claim a big title, Czech driver Michal finally got over the line with an impressive drive to claim the Banger World Series title. Reigning BWS champion Rik led for half the race but was taken out of contention by Cap, which then put #47 in the lead. Reigning BWS points champion Looney gained the lead but the wrath of #997 was unleashed on #870, allowing Michal to cruise to victory with relative ease. Looney ended up second with former 2 Litre World Champion Pepino completing the podium. As an added bonus, with neither of Cap nor Jam making it onto the podium and Michal winning, he has also claimed a rare double by not only being the Banger World Series champion but also the Banger World Series points champion by a margin of just TWO POINTS, which is an incredible achievement. As always, commiserations to those who finished the 22 lap race but got nothing for it.
