Before I start, I must thank all 6 drivers who attended tonight. Owing to a number of reasons throughout the week, there were very few bookings for this evening and even before the start I had considered cancelling the meeting and running it as a non-points event. Onto the night itself, and the Westhill Oval's tightness combined with the size of the big cars meant a quite manic meeting despite just the three pairs competing. Semi-regular racer 287 Simo made his first appearance since June this year.

PiranMoto made it back to back Unlimited Best Buds champions after a dominant heats performance that saw then win the meeting in the final despite not actually winning the final! Current 2 Litre Euro champion Michal claimed 4 heats, an Allcomers and the DD while 2016 2 Litre Euro champion Jam won two heats and the third Allcomers; ironically, for all their dominance it was a 4th place in the double points final that won them the meeting, with #47 being the meeting's top scorer on 42 points. The makeshift Looney/Simo pairing finished 7 points behind thanks to the duo's consistency in finishing every single race but Looney's persistence to stay on oppo a number of times! #870 claimed the first Allcomers in their only race win of the evening. Riot Squad were already out of contention after failing to even finish Heat 1, but the pair reversed their roles to come out on top in an incredible final that saw rodder Cap go on the oppo to stop Looney while crasher/general nuisance Jon was the speedster who got through to claim a rare final victory.
