ROW 1

Taking pole position on the Unlimited World Final grid is the World Cup champion RIk. The Dutchman topped the points table with 145 points, and despite not winning a round had 7 heat wins, a final victory, an allcomers win and a DD title. Can the Team Bandicoot man add to his year of success with the big cars' gold roof?

On the other side of the front row is the reigning champion Kane. Since the Unlimited title was introduced in 2012, no driver has ever been able to defend the gold roof but with two wins in the qualifying rounds under his belt already this year, can #238 make history and hold on to the crown?

ROW 2

LFS's godfather only achieved one heat win in the qualifying rounds but consistently picked up points to end up third on the grid. After a third place finish in last month's 2 Litre World Final, can he finally claim his first title in seven years on Friday night?

For two years in succession Looney has ended up as the runner-up in the Unlimited World Final: to Kane last year and somewhat surprisingly Tim the year before. With a good handling of the RB4 given his recent crowning as the Banger World Series points champion, will he banish the past two second places and finally go gold?

ROW 3

All-around good guy Jam records a successive 5th place on World FInal grids having done the same at Arena Essex in September. Despite not picking up a victory in the qualifiers, #616 was another constant Top 10 finisher to end up fifth. Will the gold roof be achieved in a Jammy fashion by the southern racer?

Miniman is proof that less is more as despite not scoring in Round 1 and not attending in Round 2, he has achieved a sixth place with an impressive 70 point haul in the final qualifier. Can he do a similar thing and take the gold roof from nowhere?

ROW 4

The newly-crowned 2 Litre World Champion is as always the only German on the grid and like his Team Bandicoot team-mate just ahead of him, he only needed one round to get on the grid - at Arena Essex in June - to claim 7th. Will #960 make it back to back gold roofs?

Making his first title grid by merit is Dumbo #649. Although he hasn't hit the heights in other classes during his time in LFS Bangers, the rookie has made an impact in the Unlimiteds: can he shock everyone and claim the big one?

ROW 5

Always a wrecker who has a rodding ability, Gildo has not been competing in meetings for a few months and if he turns up you can be assured he'll go for the big shot rather than the big crown.

The only driver in the field who persists with the FWD tyre-shredder of the FXO Turbo, it's highly unlikely Jon will even complete the 22 laps as he is always at risk of flipping himself on the inside of something.

ROW 6

The western wrecker with a wondrous car whatever the meeting, Splat will be targeting the big rodders to take out so it'll be unlikely that he'll get his first gold roof since 2014's XRG title.

Always a controversial character, Zotez qualified with a great 45 points in the final round at Warneton in August. He seldom attends meetings nowadays, but would he have a chance if he did turn up? Or will the opportunity of causing trouble be

ROW 7

Nay had a good performance in Round 1 but appears to have retired, having not attended meetings for many months now. If he has retired, it is a shame as he was always a great but overlooked driver.

The 2 Litre European Champion is racing in his first Unlimited World Final having not been active since the series's introduction. With a great return to LFS Bangers in the past year, can he claim his first ever gold roof?

ROW 8

The Predators' big "racer", Aaron does not finish highly but always finishes when he can, which is why he's on the inside of the eighth row. In such a high-tension race though, it's unlikely he'll claim the big one.

Another big hitter is Jake W., who has not attended meetings for a while now and is not currently booked in for the big race. #97 has the ability but he'll more than likely go for the wreck than the roof.

ROW 9

The double-barrelled novice had a good showing in his two rounds but is probably too inexperienced to really make an impact.

The second Predators driver on the grid is another wrecker in Macca. Given his relative newness to everyone else on the grid, it's unlikely Macca will be going gold.

ROW 10

The most south westernly of them all is Cornish representative Spook, who has always put his best in but has never really got anywhere. Starting from the back will surely hamper his chances of what would be a completely unexpected victory.

The most famous surname in LFS Bangers will certainly go for the crash rather than the cash, so it's safe to rule him out of winning already!

ROW 11
The last row of the grid will be decided via the Last Chance Qualifier ran before the Unlimited World Final, with the winner getting the inside and the runner-up the outside.
