FIRECRACKER VIII RESULTS

A good showing of 11 drivers attended Arena Essex for the eighth LFS Bangers Firecracker. We had a debutant in the third Moat to race LFS Bangers (after 473 Dean and 573 Shane) in 673 Sam; being from the Moat family meant that, unlike some recent drivers, he knew the rules from the off and caused no trouble at all. Being the Firecracker, many drivers chose the ridiculously overpowered FZ50 Turbo with predictably hilarious results on a night that saw far more wrecking that rodding!

Eight drivers won races tonight, but Shane won the most times (3) with an Unlims heat win, the Robins final and DD. Both Brett and Miniman won a Robins heat and an Unlims heat each, Spook won the big race of the night with the Firecracker final, Jam claimed an Unlim heat, Rik and Looney won an Allcomers each and Colin claimed the Unlims DD.

All races were non-points. Congratulations to all the winners.
